1 Day Training for Professionals

Mike Lew will conduct a day long professional training sponsored by The Men's Network, Advocates for Male Victims of Sexual Abuse, and the Canadian Mental Health Association.

The organizers sent the following information: A day long workshop/conference aimed at counselors and therapists who wish to deepen their approaches to supporting and working with male survivors of sexual abuse. We are particularly interested in offering an experience that could appeal to both those who have little experience with working with male survivors as well as those who are experienced and want to enhance and expand their approaches. “Use of self” and the therapist's own feelings and attitudes about this issue have also been brought forward as a potential focus.
