I always like the Ducktales theme song when I was little.
Every day I die again, and again Iím reborn/Every day I have to find the courage/To walk out into the street/With arms out/Got a love you canít defeat/Neither down nor out/Thereís nothing you have that I need/I can breathe/Breathe now - U2

Hey Mark, Came across the "I Dream of Jeanie" intro, and was instantly reminded of one thing that used to aggravate me as a toddler: namely, old live-action sitcoms with animated intros! At age 3 or 4, all i knew was, "Oh goody- a cartoon! ...Hey, waitaminit... this ain't a cartoon! GRRR..." :P Also, since we've got Super Chicken up here, why not The Mighty Heroes ?

Give sorrow words: the grief that does not speak Whispers the o'er-fraught heart and bids it break.
You know, I watched that show all the time, but it never occurred to me until just now that showing all those superheroes flying in the opening sequence makes no sense, because Superman is the only one of them that was supposed to be able to fly.

Ouch!!!!! When I was a kid I thought the show was historical. That is, I thought the Lone Ranger was a real person and these shows were about his life.
But then, that's what I thought about Horatio Hornblower too. I was devastated when I asked for more books about him and the librarian took me to the "fiction" department. I was looking under "European history".

The Lone Ranger was an awesome show.
Mel? You got me. I thought you were describing "Challenge of the Superfriends", not the original "Superfriends". So, in my anxiousness to display my superior intellectual prowess regarding 70's Saturday morning cartoons trivia, I made an error.
The greatest theme song ever made? Was there ever a question on that?
