Great poem, but I hope you aren't saying that you will never allow yourself to be with others again. Learning to make yourself safe and that the person/people you are with are safe can allow you to have friends and significant others again. I never thought it was possible but it is. Keep hoping, keep talking, keep working and we'll keep listening and caring.
