Do someones posts trigger, upset & enflame you?
Are my posts too cryptic... like whatthafuk?

Go to someone's profile page & choose "Ignore this User"
All text in their posts now show up as "You are ignoring this user"
& they are unable to send you PM's
(does not work with Mods... lol)
The sad thing is they won't know you are ignoring them
(unless you tell them somehow)
& you can always Unignore (because feelings change THANKGAWD)

oh the omnipotence

ineffable,

I find that the people who trigger me are the ones that I learn the most from.
They make me see and examine things that I find uncomfortable
or would not normally look at.
In my own beliefs, prejuices, opinions and how I view and react to the world.
I may not agree with what they say or do.
But this is a free country and they are entitle to their view and as I am entitle to mine.

In the Marines we had a saying " I will fight to the death for your right to be wrong".

C,

Today I'd rather try and hear someone's legitimate well-meaning opinion than hide behind the "Ignore" button.

While it may be convenient to hide, what am I missing by ignoring their voice? It may be important.

I used the feature once when I first signed up for about 2 hours.
Just another tool in our recovery toolbox that some aren't aware of.

I agree totally about looking at what gets triggered in me, why & learning from that.
