There are several threads that are added, at any given time to my original posts. though I like to keep abreast on all topics, I wish there was a way to know when someone has added a thread, without running through the topic or checking and rechecking my or other posts (again and again). I am looking for, an efficient way of staying current, therby enjoying more time to look at new postsand topics.

Is this how a watch list works?

Time is (not) on my side.

Yes, up at the top of the screen here there is a Topic Options button that has an option to add this thread to your Watched Topics. After adding it to your Watched Topics, you can then go to the My Stuff drop down box and select My Watchlists. From there, you can click on Watched Topics, and in the upper right corner click on Edit Watched Topics. From that screen it will give you the option to get an immediate email when your topic is posted to by someone.
