These keys are from the anxiety network but I think they relate to overcoming CSA as well.

Be patient....

Donít fight this....!

If you choose to fight and battle, you will lose.

Take small, gradual steps! Donít kill yourself.

You can't be perfect, so donít even try. You'll just strangle yourself.

Gradual, non-pressured, but consistent progress is the way to go!

Recognize your improvements, small as they might be at first, and give yourself credit!

You deserve it!

Do your therapy with motivation, not with desperation, and you will get over this!!

Setbacks are unavoidable, so accept them as an integral part of the healing process!!

Using this approach assures you of significant improvement on your way towards complete recovery.

Remember, the past does not equal the future.

I love all of you guys, we will get through this together.

Excellent post!
I just put this in my journal for future reference.
Recovery is a one day at a time process.
Thanks for the reminder.

Man, I can remember days when the anxiety felt like it was going to tear me to pieces. Sometimes it's essential to step back and try to regain a bit of perspective.

Much love,

Nobody living can ever stop me
As I go walking my freedom highway.
Nobody living can make me turn back:
This land was made for you and me.
