I like the long thin 'Chinese' broccoli especially with a light garlic sauce.

Damn, it's only 07:26 and I'm thinking about lunch already!

I love broccoli too. In fact I ate some last night. I didn't know it existed until I moved to California in 1981.

OK, this is sufficiently random enough that i must reply. I like broccoli (and Brussels sprouts) too; but i'm not a huge fan of it when overcooked; food yet to be eaten shouldn't smell like what it's going to make your farts smell like tomorrow...
What else about broccoli? Let's see; When it's raw, it makes my tongue/throat kinda burn a little, like radishes- same with cauliflower. Speaking of cauliflower, "Romanesco" broccoli is a hybrid of broccoli and cauliflower (and is often pointed to as a good example of fractal self-similarity).
And, of course, i would've mentioned "Chopping Broccoli" if ineffable hadn't already beaten me to it \:D

I don't mean to be gross, I like broccoli - but it gives me gas.
I still eat it though. You just don't want to hang with me afterwards. LOL
