The following has come in and we thought you all might be interested in having a look. It's an education film on CSA and male survivors and is in the final stages of production. The producers' sites are useful, but they include appeals for funding that you need not feel obligated to respond to unless this is something you really want to do.

Larry, aka roadrunner,
For the ModTeam

Just a brief message to introduce myself--I'm an independent
documentary filmmaker producing a new documentary in association with
The International Documentary Association. The Boys and Men Healing,
is a groundbreaking look at male survivors of child sexual abuse,
speaking out, healing and ending the cycle. Our company,
Big Voice Pictures produced the acclaimed Healing Years documentary,
about women healing from child sexual abuse and ending the cycle. Our
films seek to bring light to difficult issues, in order to motivate
and effect change. Our films are utilized by organizations
worldwide for training, prevention, and education, and have been
been screened at conferences and international film festivals. The
Healing Years was broadcast nationwide on PBS stations. We enjoy our
work, and especially like to see our films make a difference for
survivors and support the work of professionals working to end child
sexual abuse. Boys and Men Healing is due to be
completed in 2008, we have 2 more days of filming before final edit!

Look forward to learning more about your work!

Film may be good, I'm not to keen on the sites. I guess I have grown attached to this one since it deals with males as a main topic.

I'm a normal person dealing with abnormal experiences.

Thanks for linking this. There is definitely a shortage of male survivor content out there. We should all support these films because of that.
