For me it's easy, as a survivor, to always think of what's difficult and painful in my life. As usual on Monday, I'm feeling a little down today, so I thought today I would try and think of some things that bring me joy in life. \:\) What brings you Joy?

1. My eldest nephew Kyle

2. My youngest nephew Erik

3. My sister and brother-in-law

4. My mommy (generally speaking)

5. Helping people who are new in recovery and keeping kids safe.

7. Thunderstorms!

8. All of my friends in recovery. \:\)

9. My kitty!

10. MUSIC! \:\)

In no particular order:
1. My partner.
2. My two children.
3. My two grandchildren.
4. Our dogs.
5. Riding my motorcycle on a winding road.
6. Gardening.
7. Reading.
8. Fixing something that was broken.
9. Music.
10.Seeing the moonlight in the forest.

All of these things bring me joy in some way or another. There are many more. Life is a joy; it's not without it's ups and downs but it's certainly better than the alternative.

Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery;
None but ourselves can free our minds.
Have no fear for atomic energy,
'Cause none of them can stop the time.
How long shall they kill our prophets,
While we stand aside and look? Ooh!
Some say it's just a part of it:
We've got to fulfil de book.
