Well I never pray
But tonight I'm on my knees yeah
I need to hear some sounds that recognize the pain in me, yeah
I let the melody shine, let it cleanse my mind, I feel free now
But the airways are clean and there's nobody singing to me now

Bitter Sweet Symphony

When my "closet door" to my "subconscious" opened up and all my memories started falling on the floor before me -- I remembered so much in four short shocked my socks off me.

The CSA was one thing. Recalling my friends of the past was another. The famous and the every day.

I started searching for a song to put my life in perspective. A song I heard in the past that lifted my spirit out of a gloom.

This one did it for me. It put all my years of living into one short simple song.

The line in the verse I was looking for again was,
"I need to hear some sounds that recognize the pain in me."

And may you be in heaven
half an hour before the devil knows you're dead.

Bittersweet Symphony

I like that song a lot. I've listened to it plenty of times when I needed a lift myself.

That song is amazing, I found it on a Soccer Highlight reel and now it never leaves my Ipod. It is such an accurate depiction of so many emotions, I think it was in the top 100 of Rolling Stones Magazines Greatest Songs of All Time.

Neither fear nor courage saves us.
Unnatural vices Are fathered by our heroism.
Virtues Are forced upon us by our impudent crimes.
These tears are shaken from
the wrath-bearing tree.
