Sadness and rage walk hand in hand,
Like two friends, having fun in the sand.

Together they play one in the lead,
The other always watching the other ones deed.

Sadness is quiet and has little voice,
While rage is loud and gives no one a choice.

Sadness is full of all hurts and pain,
While rage knows only the red, red rain.

Sadness is tender, it knows how to love,
While rage is harsh, and knows only to shove.

Sadness mourns the things that have passed,
While rage breaks the things that do not last.

Sadness moves like the rain in the morn,
While rage flashes like lightning in the storm.

Sadness and rage are close friends you see,
Without the one, the other could not be.

Rage gives sadness a voice like a flower.
Sadness gives rage it's thoughtful power.

Without sadness, rage could not feel.
Without rage, sadness in the darkness would reel.

Sadness and rage will never ever part.
Together they rest, deep in my heart.

I like the idea of looking at these two together. I can't think of any survivor who wouldn't know exactly what you are describing. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Much love,

Nobody living can ever stop me
As I go walking my freedom highway.
Nobody living can make me turn back:
This land was made for you and me.

i like the rain cause no one knows im crying

a strong man is one who is able to control himself when he is angry
what is your definiton of control?

i lay awake another hour
just like the one before
the shadows play a game with my head
i can't take this anymore

Scott your becoming quite a poet. I love it. I have never put those two together like that but it makes a lot of sense. Good thought guy. Keep up the good work.
