Someone just put this quote up on a blog I was reading, and I immediately knew I had to share it with everyone here. Maybe it's been shared before, but as I'm want to say - repetition of good things is a good thing (especially for us)!

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine..." ~Nelson Mandela

We are each of us powerful beyond measure. Remember that.

"I am not a mechanism, an assembly of various sections.
And it is not because the mechanism is working wrongly, that I am ill.
I am ill because of wounds to the soul, to the deep emotional self...."
Healing D.H. Lawrence

Thank you for sharing this, tartugas. Wouldn't it be great if we all believed it and acted upon it?

Interesting. Last month, I think it was, I emailed a close friend about a problem I was having and told him how a possibility had suddenly occurred to me. What if the key isn't to figure out how to gain strength, but rather to figure out how to use the strength I already have?

Mandela's notion of our fear of our own power must fit in there somewhere...

Much love,

Nobody living can ever stop me
As I go walking my freedom highway.
Nobody living can make me turn back:
This land was made for you and me.
