I know there's a great thread in here somewhere with a huge list of really good quotes, but I can't find it, so I'm starting another one.

A friend of mine died recently of leukemia. Before she died, her family and alot of friends went to a Light the Night Walk to raise money for leukemia research. The whole night was one of the most moving experiences of my life. We all wore the same kind of bandana that Jamie wore to cover her head and her family had T-shirts made for us that said:

"You may have to fight a battle more than once to win it" - Margaret Thatcher

I wear that T-shirt alot so each time I do the laundry, I'm reminded of Jamie and my friends here who are brave enough to continue the battle.

great quote. if you hadn't already read in another post, my best friend had died of Hodgkin's lymphoma at 16, he had been misdiagnosed w/ mono several times. Cancer sucks. I like the t-shirt thing, though- some battles are too important to forget.

I have one that hangs on my door so I can read it every day.
