Yesterday I expereinced an outpouring of care and concern from friends here at MaleSurvivor when I posted about my relationship with my mother.

Some were understandably angry at what had happened to them growing up. Some were compasssionate. And thankfully, some gave me the advice that I really needed to hear.

It brought me to a miraculous point of change - the freedom to forgive!

At around 3:30 this morning, I went to and sent my Mom a dozen white roses (symbolizing purity and a "clean slate")...along with a card telling her that I forgive her.

Now I'm free... free to love her

Grateful for friends here... Mike <><
