I was a scared child then i stood tall
I was a nobody but i stood tall
I was a soldier i stood tall
I travelled the world i stood tall
I dropped out of life and i stood tall
I got my act together i stood tall
I worked around the world in personel protection i stood tall
I lived my life standing tall

Im here today asking for help to stand tall again

Cant keep standing tall, want to go out and live my life instead of hiding in the dark. Im back at the beginning, huddled in the dark parts of my mind hoping no one sees me, if i stay still and silent he will not see me, i will be invisible.
I want to go forward instead of back.

Sorry about this, cant keep my mind straight, cant keep here, keep on going back.

Dear Seven,

I am new here too. I think I understand what you are saying.
I too know how to be invisible. First as a child and then as an adult. I was an invisible child. I learned early how to hide (emotionally) from the chaos that surrounded my childhood.

As an adult, I learned "stand tall" in an adult world, but the real me was still invisbile -- even to me.

Please keeping posting. There are a lot of great guys here that can listen and understand.

So many of us will recognize our own issues in what you say about "standing tall". There were so many days I just wanted to curl up in a corner and disappear; I would catch myself thinking, "I'll do whatever you want, just don't hurt me anymore".

But it does get better, bro. Hang with us. There are answers.

Much love,

This land was made for you and me.
