Note that Ken would not see a survivor's partner except at the survivor's request and even then he would not see the partner individually. As a survivor in therapy myself I can see how important this is. I need to have 100% confidence in my T, and it would be difficult to maintain that if I knew that later that week she would be seeing my wife to give her tips on how to help me.
I think this really would put the therapist in a difficult position and would surely have to complicate the task of getting the survivor to speak frankly and openly about how he feels.
