maybe personal achievement is not as important as being with people i care about -
i am just thinking about things
i have an amazing opportunity and encouragement - from a major insitution in Boston.
and as I prepare to write the letter that they have asked me to write -
i also went to my new accountant - my skills in business popped out of my mouth -
in a way - i knew not that i had - the accountant smiled with this - as i guess he saw my dad coming through.
but then i saw more - i saw him - i saw what he was doing -
all of it - i am proud that i am flattered by this 'professional flattery' - and alarmed a bit - by an accountants -actions and inactions.
i knew that work is important for each of us - but i thought to have someone by my side - always there - just then
and to just know - that person would be there -
to have a family - not a dangerous - one - as we each stand on our own -
tired - anyways - right now- i'd give up this flattery - just to be in a way connected to some family.
