Hello. My name is Chelane and I have a few questions that I really need some answers to.
I have NO idea what is happening to my body and after I retrieved some information on line it really makes me wonder....

Last June I ended up in the ER due to what the dr's reported as hypervenalation, animia, lycocytosis and tremmors. No other real diagonisis was made (excuse the spelling errors I'm just about ready to leave for work and I'm rushing...)

The reason for the hospital was that I had been camping and when I went to bed almost within 10 minutes I had an extreamly weird sensation in my head. It was almost like being thouroughly intoxicated, however I very seldom drink. I couldn't breath - it was like my lung capasity was cut in half and my heart rate accelerated. My hands had gone numb and I got sick to my stomach. I also was having trouble with my bowels. The numbness spread to my feet and eventually to throughout my whole body by the time I arrived at the hospital. After the numbness began however I began uncontrolably shaking. Within appoximatly 15 minutes my whole body was what I feel convulsing (maybe it felt worse that it was because the dr reported I was having tremmors) I felt as though I was dying.

This same thing has happened (however not to the same degree as the first episode - thank God)at least 6 times. I am really freaked out. What kind of testing is done to determine if an individual has MS or do you think that I really need to worry??

BTW I have frequent headaches (almost daily) and when the tremmors began I feel it in my mid to lower back to begin with and it then spreads to the rest of my body. It seems my thighs and lower tummy feel the sensation strongest. Thank you so much I appologize for the length of this post...

first off, disregard the concern for the length of the post (try wading through mine, and you will see what i mean \:D ).

i apologize that i cannot respond to your actual question. similar sensations that very between individual survivors are actual somatic (physiological) responses to memories of the abuse...aka, body memories. however, since there was some possible physical explanation for the symptoms (the hospital diagnosis in ER), then it could very well be something physical. other than that, i really don't know what to say. i am not equipped to effectively comment on physical symptoms. the only thing i can suggest is that if you are able to, make an appointment with a specialist for a diagnostic of what the general class of symptoms seems to point to. take care, and i will keep you in my thoughts.

journey well,

bad flashbacks can sometimes produce extreme physical symptoms, and the first time they come we just don't know what's going on at all.

I would talk to you doctor, in detail, and maybe get referred on to a therapist or psychologist to investigate any background that could have been triggered and caused this.
