i am watching some dvds of "keeping up appearances."
i grew up in part in a small town outside of
these people in this area - oddly - are more like the english (but without the accent)
than here in toronto in some ways -
at least the english - in Keeping Up Appearances.
the sense of character and humor and reaction and
self mockery - and APPETITE.
it's wild - though - you just have to block out the accent and watch the faces - and these - in an older form - are like the girls I grew up with and the men .
not really get it - but it's interesting to me -
their words and attitudes are so like the folks in my town.
