For many on this board, the holidays are a time of sadness and depression, but for me, I will do my damndest to remember what the holidays are about.

Holidays are about family. If not the ones by blood, then by choice.

Holidays are about hope beginning.

Holidays are about grace, not because we deserve it, but because we simply are.

Holidays are about letting go of the pain and accepting peace.

Holidays are about the best in humankind.

May we all, in our own way, enjoy what the holidays mean, and should mean.

God bless all who come here. Happy Christmas. Happy Chanukah, Happy Kwanzaa.

Shalom. Salaam. Peace.

Have a good, and peaceful, holiday Scot.

My holiday blessings:

My family, those who are still here, and those who have returned home already, I still feel them with me.

My friends, everyone who has been kind and supportive of me during my healing times, online friends, 'real world' friends, it is no matter, a friend is a friend.

People who truly understand what I have been through, and do not judge me because of it.

My life.

My health.

The ability to do something I enjoy for a job.

Tomorrow. And the next day. And the continued future that is mine. Today is the memory of tomorrow. It is my power now to make my future memories better then the past.

Peace, courage and strength to all who read here.
May the new year bring us some of the happiness that we missed as children and may we bring some happiness to those others who need it, too.
You all have become important to me, take care of yourselves this next year. May we all realize some of those things that will bring us closer to whom we were meant to be.
