The Men's Line is a collection of shirts created by or on behalf of men who have been sexually abused. These shirts are then hung on a clothesline. This powerful visual display serves to pay tribute to male survivors, educate the public, and give men the opportunity to speak out. This year will mark our 2nd annual display. The event will be held on Tuesday, September 16th, 2003 (raindate September 18th) from 11am to 8pm at "The Green" Bergen County Courthouse, Hackensack, NJ.
If you would like to create a shirt for the line please contact the Bergen County Rape Crisis Center at (201)487-2227. Survivors may make shirts at the Center, take materials home to make shirts, make a shirt the day of the event, or send their shirt via mail. For survivors submitting shirts but unable to attend the event, we will gladly take a picture of your shirt on the line and forward it to you if you wish.
This event is sponsored by the YWCA of Bergen County Rape Crisis Center.
